Daily Random Shot, 040-11, A Chilly re-View

Welp, here's the shot of the same spot of the previous shot.  Not really impressive, but what the heck. It's certainly cooler looking.  Nothing exciting really.

And here's some really long icicles.  There's a lot of them building up. One of the neater looking, and dangerous things, that winter has to offer..

Daily Random Shot 039 11, A Warmer View

This is the place I'm headed to for Wed. I'll shoot one from there Thur with the current weather status. - I was just thinking that I was missing spring and fall. And why is it that we seem to only get a little of those two seasons and almost 6 months of summer and 6 months out of winter?

Daily Random Shot 036-11, Two Dads Diner makes it Yummy!

One of my favorite places to go grab a quick bite to eat with my wife is Two Dads Diner. - The food is good, the price is right, and the help is friendly.  I've never had an issue with their food or service.  But then, I might be having to much fun to notice any issues. - That should say something, eh?  They've got a breakfast special from 7-9 am where you can grab a meal for $2.99. Sorta makes the Fast Food places pale when you get right down to it.

Daily Random Shot 035-11, Old Shed - Maple Heights, OH.

While I was unloading this morning in Maple Heights, OH.I saw a shot that I wanted to take.  I don't always get a chance to get them. Today I did. :)   I really like these old buildings. To be more exact, I like the old brick structures around the Cleveland, Ohio area. I grew up out west.  Very few 100 year old brick buildings out there...

Daily Random Shot 032-11, Emerald Necklace Marina

This is simply another picture that I took this past weekend at the Emerald Neck Marina.  I've not been in the building... maybe we'll have to remedy that one day soon. :)

As I've mentioned in the previous post,  another blogger already has a good local photo niche blog going on.  I had thought that I could do something similar to theirs. But besides lacking their talent, and eye. I don't think that that I can. Also for me to consider,  I might not be in town when it's light outside. So, I'm going to try and get one done each day while I'm on the road,  if I don't have a local shot handy. Granted, I'm still going to be a Lakewood-iean (?) but I'll be doing what I can do, with what I have. :)

Besides, I need to try and exercise some of the philosophic wisdom that I've heard that says we need to be happy with what we DO HAVE. Rather then un-happy with what we don't.

Daily Random Shot 029-11, Emerald Necklace Marina Area

I was playing around with my software effects  with this one, cropped it, and gave it a little extra color.  It sorta reminds me of the old over colored photo's from the 50's.   The sun was setting, and I didn't have much light. But that brings out the street lamps and such.  The shots that I took were more of an after thought, then planned.  Wish I had a camera that could truly zoom, etc.... One day one day..

Daily Random Shot 028-11, Lakewood Park, OH

Just in case you were wondering, The Daily Random Shot's 5 numbers indicate the Julian Day and year. Not the photo number, or the number of Random Daily shot's taken. I guess that I'm fairly safe in just using the last two digits for the end of the year, as I don't expect that I'll be around in 2111 posting these things. If I am. I'll certainly be surprised.  I forgot to add the year to the previous posts, so I'll start with this one. :)

This is sort of near our apartment, but it's a winter view of Lakewood Park. (Lakewood, Ohio)  I guess that I need to start taking pictures when I'm out and about, if I'm going to get serious about posting on a daily basis. :)  Granted, they're only going to be from my phone,  as I'm not a professional photographer.  But WOULD find that line of work rather interesting. :)

Daily Random Shot 026 and VFTC

I'm going to try and post a daily random shot from the road, or from around my town. As I'm not always in my truck.  And there are other pictures from my local area that you might like to see. This is the first. :)  This picture will also be shared or on @TachoBlog's VFTC or weekly Views From The Cab. The Cabs are the Cab's of trucks from around the world. He compiles a weekly summary of the views usually on Fridays.
